Science is exciting! Visitors* could convince themselves of this at numerous information stands, in lectures and panel discussions on a wide variety of research fields. More than 55 contributions were invited to participate, to think and to discuss.
After a long break, young and old were able to take an exciting look behind the scenes of research at the special science event. In two large tents on Schadowplatz, the latest was offered to touch and ask questions: In the natural sciences, drones for mobile investigation of air pollutants and smart plants were presented, as were concepts for sustainable living and business. In the humanities, the focus was on the interpersonal, for example, with a song lexicon that examines songs in their cultural context. Some things seemed abstract at first, but projects such as research into supply chain disruptions have not only been crucial for tomorrow's everyday life since Corona.
Among other things, it was also shown which exciting research topics in the field of cardiovascular research are currently being worked on at the University of Düsseldorf. Of course, the TRR259, as a part of this, was also present.
