This year the 4th annual retreat of the TRR 259 took place at Schloss Ahrenthal in Sinzig. The yearly retreats foster scientific exchange, collaboration and team building within the CRC/TRR 259. The castle offered an excellent opportunity to get to know the new project managers and their projects for the 2nd funding period. Many new ideas and collaborations have emerged. Our PhD students, postdocs, and other TRR 259-associated members had the opportunity to participate in the retreat at a live-streaming event in Bonn.
