Women Connect Series Women Connect Series

October 27, 2021

In September 2021, the “Women Connect Series” network for female researchers was founded. Together, the TRR259, TRR237, Cluster ImmunoSensation2, iRTG2168 and SFB1454 want to organize a network with workshops, lectures and network events for female scientists.

As a prelude, we offer an exciting workshop on the topic of "Improvement of visibility and media strategy" followed by an exchange of experiences between the participants and the coach.

When? October 27, 2021, 9 am- 1 pm, afterward lunch and exchange
Where? Bonn, Venusberg-Campus 1, Lehrgebäude (building 10), seminar room 8

With this workshop, you will, in the end, have expressive language in your texts, know what successful social media content looks like, how to convince the public, and how to become visible in the media.

Learn five journalistic rules to write a good text. Learn which topics journalists are looking for and to tell an exciting story from complex contexts using storytelling. Optimize your online presence. And learn how to convince editorial offices of yourself and your topics and thus achieve greater media visibility. After the coaching, there will be time for exchange over lunch with other scientists and the coach.

This workshop will also be the starter for our Women Connect Series, a network for female scientists including workshops, lectures, and networking events like a family BBQ. You can look forward to it!

Best Wishes
