S02-Transcriptomics and epigenetic data analysis
The bioinformatics platform will support the research projects of the consortium in planning of experimental setups, analysis, manuscript preparation and publication of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data. Multiple projects have already or will generate bulk and/or single-cell sequencing datasets of mRNA, epigenetic changes in histone modifications as well as accessible chromatin regions (ATAC sequencing), which will be analysed by the researchers of the bioinformatics platform. Using a diverse set of statistical tools and machine learning algorithms, the platform will also perform analysis of CRISPR-based functional screens and data mining by integration of clinical, proteomics and sequencing data to develop novel data-driven research approaches.
