Z - Central tasks
Project Z is responsible for the administration of the TRR259 and the organisation of the central measures. The central office will coordinate all activities and provide funding for the modules, temporary substitutes for clinicians, family and gender support, seminars and travel support, workshops, and symposia. Central tasks for all projects will be coordinated, including communication, accounting, and reports. The strategic planning of TRR259 and the cooperation of the sub-projects is a fundamental task of project Z. A Clinician-Scientist programme will be sustained to attract more physicians to science. Project Z will implement new project ideas with the help of lump-sum funds, as very successfully applied in the last funding period. A central data management project, including a dedicated data steward, will be established to assure central data management coordination, contemporary data policies, data archiving, exchange and access and to qualify and assist TRR259 scientists in all aspects of data management.
